Here’s what Brad Wajnman, our Investment Director, has to say about the continued cross-talk and misinformation, about the Iraqi Dinar, that continues to float around the Internet:

Over the last few weeks I’ve been experiencing something a little out of the ordinary…
Several friends and colleagues have contacted me out of the blue to ask me whether I think buying some Iraq Dinar (the country’s currency) is a good idea or not.
I pretty much told them the same thing we shared with WV members over a year ago in my report entitled: “Iraqi Dinars: Your Golden Ticket to Early Retirement… or Hyped-up Sham?” [ available via the Alternative Investments Page (AIP) inside The Wealth Vault members’ area ]
It turns out the rumormongers have been workin’ overtime, which has led to a recent Dinar buying frenzy. The most common rumor floating around is what I call the “Any Day Now RV Theory.”
It usually goes something like this: “My friend just bought some… he told me it’s gonna revalue any day now… don’t miss out!” or “I heard the Dinar’s gonna RV before the end of the month… whoohooo, we’re all gonna be rich!”
There are plenty more where those came from, but the point is many people still wonder if there’s actually any validity to all the hype and rumors.
After all, the ongoing debate of whether investing money in Iraqi Dinars is a legit investment OR simply a polished internet “scam” being perpetrated by online Dinar dealers continues to be one of the most controversial topics in this arena.
Case in point: We’ve seen some big name publishers recently tell their readers things like “Avoid this currency scam” and “Don’t become a victim of this fraud. Buy lottery tickets instead. You have a much better chance of winning.”
I just shake my head when I read ridiculous statements like this. As one Dinar expert recently stated: “The closer we get to a revaluation of the Dinar, the more misdirection and plain lies we are hearing.”
That’s true, but to be fair, the misdirection and lies aren’t just coming from the naysayers and bashers out there, they’re also coming from the Dinar enthusiast camp, in the form of rumors and endless speculation.
So, I thought I’d share a few thoughts about where I currently stand on the whole Dinar situation…
