Let’s face it, most people receive little to no financial education, either in school or from their parents. As a result, they end up making poor financial decisions due to lack of having access to the right information.
The vendor we added recently was founded in 2000 to fill that gap and help people accelerate their ability to create wealth through proper budget management and accountability. The company does this through a combination of free online trainings and an optional phone coaching program.
The curriculum has been developed over the past decade using extensive feedback from users and input from over 40 industry experts, including bankers, CFPs, collection specialists, CPAs, credit experts, investors, mortgage experts, attorneys, and other specialists.
This vendor provides education and tools to enable individuals and families to maximize their cash flow, which it defines as discretionary spending (the money left over from monthly income after expenses have been paid).
The core of the vendor’s website is an extensive list of free online classes and workshops. One of the first things I did to check out the quality of the information being presented was to go through the first workshop myself, which consisted of a series of 8 videos that are each about 10 – 15 minutes long.
After you’ve been through all the free training on the site, you can continue your financial education with unlimited phone consultations for 2 full years. This personalized hand-holding service is really for those who want/need the extra accountability and guidance to stay on track.
Qualifications for coaching include:
* U.S. resident
* More than $10,000 in debt
* A commitment to embrace new methods and technologies
